Methods to avoid scratches or damage to the LCD screen surface

Methods to avoid scratches or damage to the LCD screen surface

1. Avoid using sharp objects

Operation tools: When operating the screen, avoid using sharp objects (such as keys, pens, etc.) to directly touch the screen surface to avoid scratching the screen.

Cleaning tools: Make sure that there are no burrs or hard objects on the edges of the cleaning tools to avoid scratching the screen during wiping.

2. Use screen protectors

Protective film: Applying a high-quality screen protector to the screen surface can effectively prevent scratches and stains. Choose a protective film suitable for industrial control screens to ensure that it has high transparency and does not affect the display effect.

Installation: When installing the protective film, make sure that the screen surface is clean and dry to avoid bubbles and dust being sandwiched between the protective film and the screen.

3. Avoid long-term exposure to strong light

Shading: Avoid exposing the screen to strong light for a long time, such as direct sunlight or high-intensity lights. Long-term exposure to strong light may cause the screen to age and fade.

Adjust the brightness: According to the light intensity of the use environment, adjust the brightness of the screen appropriately to reduce the energy consumption and heat generation of the screen.

4. Avoid liquid contact

Waterproof measures: When cleaning the screen, avoid direct contact of liquid with the screen surface, especially the edges and interface parts of the screen. If liquid accidentally splashes on the screen, wipe it dry immediately with a clean soft cloth.

Protective cover: When using in a humid or liquid splashing environment, you can consider installing a protective cover to prevent liquid from directly contacting the screen.

5. Avoid high and low temperature environments

Environmental temperature: Avoid leaving the screen in a high or low temperature environment for a long time. Extreme temperatures may cause the performance of the screen to deteriorate or even damage the screen.

Temperature changes: Avoid transferring the screen from a high temperature environment to a low temperature environment, or vice versa, in a short period of time to prevent the screen from being damaged due to rapid temperature changes.

6. Regular inspection and maintenance

Check the screen: Regularly check the surface of the screen for scratches, stains or damage. If scratches or damage are found, take timely measures to prevent the problem from further deteriorating.

Maintenance records: Establish cleaning and maintenance records to record the time and content of each cleaning and maintenance in order to track the use of the screen.
